Glitter Free Bling ?

At Operation Write Home they are having a challenge to add bling to a card with no glitter.  I thought these sparkeles would be perfect, once again trying to use up my stash.  The paper is dsp from Stampin' Up! Love their paper and how easy it is to match everything together.

These are "love" cards that can be used anytime....The stamp set is from the Sale-A-Bration which is the best time of year at Stampin' Up! it's a great way to earn free stuff :)

OWH sketch

Over at Operation Write Home they have a weekly sketch challenge this is the 2nd one that I have managed to do this year.  It seems that they are in need of more cards.  I guess with all the news that Iraq is over that people think that this wonderful group no longer needs cards.

I know first hand that is not true.  Troops may be out of Iraq, but we beinging a military family have friends that are in Afghanistan and on ships floating in the middle of oceans.  So if you have the urge to help a wonderful cause I know they would really appreciate it.

This card is made with wondeerful Stampin' Up! products.  I didn't follow the sketch exactly but it was a great starting point.

Today is the start of the great Stampin' Up! promotion.  For every $50 dollars you spend you can get free stuff.....Who doesn't love FREE stuff?

Lastly here are some cards I made for a swap I am apart of.  I always wait til the last minute possible to work on them....Loving this thin ribbon in the In Colors....you can get it free during the Sale-A-Bration period.

Thank You

Here is a card I have made to send to my great friend who let us stay with her and her awesome family over New Years.  Now that we live so very far away it is hard to stay in touch like we should. But when we get together its like old times.

I have been taking "flat Sally" around for her daughter so that she can see some of the world.

Here she is watching the East China Sea and watching the surfers...

Hope everyone is having a wonderful day, doing what ever makes you happy.

Thanks for stopping by!

Color Challenge

I'm getting back in the swing of things....seems like there is an curvy cycle to me being crafty.  We have been back from vacation and I have organized my craft room.  Which is helping with the creativity process and me wanting to be in my happy room :)

Over at Operation Write Home they are having a color challenge.  Black and white with a pop of color.  It was super fun using my old stash....I go back in forth with wanting to just get rid of my non Stampin' Up! supplies or using what I have and slowly building up my Stampin' Up goodies.
So this card is from my stash.....

Also this week OWH had a post on craft spaces and organizing......LOVE it!!!!
Here our a couple pics that make me happy about my space.  This is what I have been working on the last couple days...file folders with all the SU colors of cardstock...I saw this on pintrest and knew that I had to do it.

Next is my ribbon and mason jars....I have posted this pic before but it really does just make me smile.

Hope everyone is able to have some craty time that makes you happy.
