Sketch Challenge #78

This week's challenge didn't involve circles Yaaaaa!!!  Here is a picture of the sketch....

So what did I use for the embellishment.....Circles!!!! :)  I saw this card on a Stampin Up! site and CASED it.  

All the products I used are Stampin Up which makes me very happy....I love their cardstock.  

Also on OWH they have tutorials onch a week, which is great to help you grow as a cardmaker.

Last week was paper piercing.  I tried my hand at it, the little flower is what I stamped twice then cut out.

OWH midweek Challenge

The mid-week challenge over at Operation Write Home is a Miss you card....

I wanted to try this flower, I saw a video on you tube. Which here in Japan is a feat just trying to downlaod anything....anyway.   It's a scallop punch then cut into petals.  

I also have these preprinted cards and have never been sure what to do with them.  I am very happy with it.

Sketch #77

Over at Operation Write Home they do weekly sketch challenges.  They have been on a circle kick.  For someone like me who only has 1 true circle punch (I have ordered more, they are in the mail)  it's been a true Chalenge....but I'm loving every minute of it.  

I have had this paper forever....I thought it would be good for a birthday or how many months left on a deployment.

OWH Challenge

I have been up to my ears in fall colors.  Seems kinda stange since it's July 1st were I am and HOTTTTTTTTTTTTT and humid. Over at Operation Write Home the challenges is to come up with Autumn/Fall cards.  I am loving that I have the time to spend on these cards for such a great cause.  I have survived many a deployments.  In the begining snail mail was the only communication we had, now with email its great to get sn  "almost" instant responses...However nothing is as great as getting something in the mail from your loved one.  I have cards from 22 years ago that I would grab if my house was burning down.  So thanks to the great people who organzie OWH.I am happy to do my part.
